Nicole Aeschleman is an attorney located in San Jose specializing in the practice of family law in Santa Clara, Alameda and San Mateo Counties. Ms. Aeschleman has experience with both simple and complex custody and visitation matters. She has handled from beginning to completion custody cases involving domestic violence, substance abuse, move-away requests and issues of parental alienation.

Ms. Aeschleman is especially skilled and talented with handling complex financial matters that arise in the family law context, including support matters and property division. She graduated from Santa Clara University with an undergraduate degree in Finance, she worked in the finance field before law school, and in law school, she focused on business law classes. She has experience with financial issues such as the tracing of assets, assessment of reimbursement claims, valuation of stock options, retirement plans and real and personal property, as well as assessment and litigation of permanent spousal support. Ms. Aeschleman also has experience managing complex property cases that require the forensic accountant investigation.

Ms. Aeschleman also prepares pre-nuptial and post-marital agreements for clients seeking both simple and complex agreements. She assesses the individual client’s needs and prepares a custom agreement based on what is appropriate for that client’s situation.

Ms. Aeschleman attended Santa Clara University School of Law, where she served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review, was a research assistant for a professor, completed a judicial externship and served as a law clerk.
